The content of this site is prepared with care, but without guarantee of accuracy, completeness or currency. Trail conditions, closures and routes can change at any time. Use of the map and riding the trails is at your own risk.

Data sources

Maps, aerial imagery and elevation data: swisstopo. Trail network: swissTLM3D and OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL). Closures, detours and Mountainbikeland routes: SchweizMobil / Federal Roads Office (ASTRA). The trail geometry on this map is derived from the OpenStreetMap path network and therefore forms a derivative database under the Open Database License (ODbL) 1.0. It is in turn made available under ODbL 1.0 and can be fetched in machine-readable form from https://backend.localtrails.ch/api/odbl/trails. The other content of this project — trail names, descriptions, ratings and photos — is not part of that database and remains with the project.

Privacy

This site does not use tracking cookies and does not embed any analytics services. Map tiles are loaded directly from swisstopo; in doing so, the browser transmits technically necessary connection data to their servers.
